Yes. We travel across the Washington, DC, area and beyond, and we’re passport-ready for international projects. All travel fees are built into your package upfront, so there are no hidden costs.

We have invested in newer Canon gear and have multiple professional-level camera bodies and prime lenses.
For indoor events or studio work, we use professional lighting equipment, backdrops, and reflectors. We also have a drone, a stabilizer for video work, and an action camera.
For post-processing, we use a Macbook Pro with the latest Adobe software.

Absolutely. We always bring multiple camera bodies, a plethora of lenses, and ample memory cards.
Additionally, all our camera bodies shoot to two separate memory cards to ensure that even your photos are backed up on the fly.

Most headshot sessions are 30–90 minutes. Lifestyle and portrait shoots often run 1–3 hours depending on the number of looks, locations, and concepts.

Turnaround depends on session size: headshots and small portrait shoots typically 3–10 calendar days; fuller lifestyle or commercial galleries may take 1–3 weeks. (Wedding turnaround is different — see wedding FAQs.)

Delivery counts vary by package. Typical portrait sessions deliver 10–50 fully edited images; commercial shoots vary by brief. Exact counts are included in your quote.

High-resolution, fully edited images are delivered via a private online gallery where you can download, share, and order prints or albums.

Life happens. If we're available on your new date, we'll do our best to accommodate your request. Rescheduling is subject to the terms outlined in your contract.

Yes, we can tailor your session to accommodate additional family members, friends, or team members. We'll recommend the best coverage based on your group size and goals.

Yes. Every image is professionally edited for color, exposure, and consistency in our signature style. Advanced retouching is available upon request for an additional fee.

No. Our editing focuses on enhancing your images, not changing your appearance. We do not reshape bodies or alter permanent physical features

Absolutely. We offer fine-art prints, framed prints, and custom albums. We use high-quality labs to match the elegant look of the images.

No, but we can recommend trusted Hair & Makeup Artists in the area and coordinate timing on the day.

Deposits are generally non-refundable; rescheduling is possible based on our calendar. The full policy will be in the contract to review, provided at booking.

Yes, a deposit holds your date. The remaining balance is due per the contract (usually before delivery).

Yes, we love references. Please share a mood board or examples and we will incorporate those into the shoot while keeping the images natural and timeless.

Yes. For commercial use (ads, websites, social campaigns) we grant specific usage licenses. Pricing depends on scope, duration, and territory.

Rago Images retains copyright to the images. Clients receive a license for personal or commercial use as agreed. If you need full copyright transfer, we can discuss a custom agreement.

That's completely normal. We'll guide you with natural posing and easy directions so you can relax and enjoy the experience. Before long, you'll forget the camera is even there.

Yes. Engagement sessions are a wonderful opportunity for us to get to know each other before the wedding while helping you feel comfortable in front of the camera.
Many of our wedding collections include one, and they're also available as an add-on.

Most couples book 12 to 18 months in advance, especially for spring and fall weekends. If you already have your date and venue, we recommend reaching out as soon as possible, as availability is limited.

Yes. Most full-day wedding collections include a second professional photographer, allowing us to capture more moments, perspectives, and candid interactions throughout the day.

Yes. A signed agreement and a 50% non-refundable retainer are required to reserve your wedding date.

Every wedding is unique, but most couples receive between 400 and 1,000 professionally edited images, depending on coverage time and the events throughout the day.
Sneak peeks are typically delivered within 24 to 48 hours. Full galleries are delivered in approximately 4 weeks during the winter and spring, and 6 to 8 weeks during peak wedding season. We often deliver sooner whenever possible.

Booking is simple. Once you've selected your wedding collection, we'll send over your proposal, agreement, and invoice.
Your date is officially reserved once the agreement is signed and the retainer has been received.

Yes. Every gallery includes access to a professional print store where you can order museum-quality prints and wall art.
We also offer beautifully crafted heirloom albums designed to preserve your wedding story for generations.

While emergencies are extremely rare, we're always prepared. We carry backup cameras, lenses, memory cards, and batteries, and maintain a trusted network of professional photographers who can step in should an unforeseen emergency arise.

Additional retouching is available upon request and may require additional fees depending on the scope of the edits.

Weddings rarely run exactly on schedule, and while we always do our best to stay flexible and accommodate the flow of your day, any additional coverage beyond the contracted time is subject to availability and will be billed at the overtime rate outlined in your agreement.

Our experience photographing weddings in a wide variety of venues allows us to adapt quickly to changing lighting and weather conditions without requiring a walkthrough.
However, if you'd like us to attend your venue walkthrough or rehearsal, we're happy to do so as an optional add-on.

We regularly photograph weddings throughout Virginia, Maryland, and across the United States, and we're always excited to travel for destination celebrations.
They require additional travel and accommodation fees, which will always be discussed in advance.

Yes. In addition to photography, we offer cinematic wedding videography, allowing you to enjoy a seamless experience with one creative team documenting your day.

We highly recommend it. An unplugged ceremony allows your guests to be fully present while ensuring your photographs are free of phones and distractions. We're happy to help you decide if it's the right fit for your celebration.

No. We only deliver professionally edited images that reflect our artistic style and the quality of work you see throughout our portfolio. RAW and unedited files are not included.
