Yes — I travel across the Washington DC area and beyond, and I’m passport-ready for international gigs. All travel fees are built into your package upfront, so there are no hidden costs.

I have invested in newer Canon gear and have multiple professional-level camera bodies and prime lenses.
For indoor events or studio work, I use professional lighting equipment, backdrops, and reflectors. I also have a drone, a stabilizer for video work, and an action camera.
For post-processing, I use a Macbook with the latest Adobe software.

Absolutely. I always bring multiple camera bodies, a plethora of lenses, and ample memory cards.
Additionally, all my camera bodies shoot to two separate memory cards to ensure that even your photos are backed up on the fly.

I offer tiered packages depending on session type and usage (personal vs commercial). For weddings and full corporate projects I provide custom quotes.

Most portrait and headshot sessions are 30–90 minutes. Lifestyle and portrait shoots often run 1–3 hours depending on number of looks, locations, and concepts.

Turnaround depends on session size: headshots and small portrait shoots typically 3–10 calendar days; fuller lifestyle or commercial galleries may take 1–3 weeks. (Wedding turnaround is different — see wedding FAQs.)

High-resolution, fully edited images are delivered via a private online gallery where you can download, share, and order prints or albums.

Choose timeless, well-fitting pieces that make you feel confident. Solids or subtle patterns usually photograph best. I’ll send a style guide after booking with location- and lighting-specific tips.

For outdoor shoots we’ll discuss a rain plan: alternative nearby location, reschedule options (based on availability), or creative rain-friendly shots if you’re up for it.

Yes — packages can be adjusted for extra people. For corporate headshots I offer team sessions and on-site blocks to keep things efficient.

Yes — I perform professional color correction and tasteful retouching (skin smoothing, blemish removal, minor adjustments) while preserving natural texture and authenticity.

Absolutely. I offer fine-art prints, framed prints, and custom albums. I use high-quality labs to match the elegant look of the images.

I can recommend trusted HMU artists in the area and coordinate timing on the day, but HMU is booked separately.

Yes — props and well-behaved pets are welcome. Let me know in advance so I can plan timing and styling.

Deposits are generally non-refundable; rescheduling is possible based on my calendar. Full policy is in the contract provided at booking.

Yes — a deposit holds your date. The remaining balance is due per the contract (usually before delivery).

Please — I love references. Share a mood board or examples and I’ll incorporate those into the shoot while keeping the images natural and timeless.

Yes. For commercial use (ads, websites, social campaigns) we grant specific usage licenses. Pricing depends on scope, duration, and territory.

I retain copyright to the images; clients receive a license for personal or commercial use as agreed. If you need full copyright transfer, we can discuss a custom agreement.

I do tasteful retouching for skin and color. Full body reshaping or heavy manipulation is not my usual style, but we can discuss special requests upfront.

If my calendar allows, you can reschedule. Policies vary by package — we’ll outline options in the contract.

That’s normal. I guide posing gently and keep things effortless and natural. My aim is to make the session calm, flattering, and enjoyable.

I offer several curated collections that scale by coverage hours, number of photographers, and included deliverables (digital gallery, album options, engagement session). Each package is designed to feel luxurious and effortless.

Yes — engagement sessions are a lovely way to get comfortable in front of the camera and are often included or offered as an add-on.

Wedding couples often book 12–18 months in advance, especially for weekend dates and peak seasons. If you have a particular date, reach out soon to avoid disappointment.

I focus on storytelling: getting ready, first looks, ceremony, family formals, portraits, and reception. I keep things calm and unobtrusive, while guiding key moments to make them polished and cinematic.

Yes — for most full-day weddings I include a second experienced photographer to capture alternative angles and candid moments so nothing is missed.

The deposit is generally half of the total package price. The rest is due 30 days prior to the wedding date.

It depends on how long the wedding is. For a 6 to 8-hour wedding, I usually deliver between 400-650 edited images. For a longer 10 to 12-hour wedding, it could go up to 1,000 edited images.
My turnaround time for sneak peek images is the next day after the wedding or the day after that.
For the whole gallery, my goal is to hit the 4-week mark in the Spring and Winter, but during peak season (May – October), my turnaround time is usually between 6-8 weeks due to the high volume of work.
However, I usually deliver the entire gallery faster than those estimations.

Sign the contract and pay the deposit. Once received, your date is reserved — I’ll follow up with planning materials to make your timeline effortless and refined.

You can order prints from your gallery at any time by simply clicking the shopping cart in the image of your choice. There you will be taken to a simple order page to choose your sizes. I also offer custom albums, please reach out to me here for more details.

I always have a backup plan and trusted colleagues who can step in. All equipment is duplicated (backups for cameras, cards, and batteries) to protect your images.

Yes — I professionally edit every selected image for color, exposure, and tasteful retouching. I aim for a refined, timeless finish.

Coverage extensions are possible if your schedule changes; hourly overtime rates apply and are covered in the contract.

After photographing dozens of weddings and attending a few venue walk-throughs, I've found that it is no “guaranteed” benefit due to the changing weather conditions between the walk-through date and the day of.
My years of experience in all conditions and types of venues give me the knowledge and confidence to capture your day in the most amazing way, whether I have spent time on the property previously or not.
However, since I know that some couples would love their photographer's input during walk-throughs, I do offer venue walk-throughs and rehearsal coverage as an a la carte add-on to your wedding collection.

Yes — I offer heirloom albums and fine-art prints curated to match your wedding’s aesthetic.

Local travel inside the DC metro area is generally included; destination weddings or travel beyond agreed regions include travel and accommodation fees.

I focus on still photography. If you’d like cinematic video, I can recommend trusted videographers in my team.

I’ll coordinate with you and your officiant on whether you want an unplugged ceremony. Often an unplugged ceremony makes for cleaner, more intimate photos.
